Words of Wisdom

“As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. You’ll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you’ll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you’ve never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone’s hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don’t be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.” - Unknown

"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe." - Neil Gaiman, The Sandman

Happy, happy weekend! I hope everyone has some marvelous summer plans. I know I do! Looking forward to fireworks, hamburgers, flower wearing, mixtape making, friendship bracelets, reading and eating lots and of our big, huge, giant watermelon. It's gonna be good. Meanwhile here's some lovely links.

Daydreams

It's all I can do lately to not favorite every one of Colour Lover's beautiful photographs on her flickr photostream. Every photo! So beautiful, so inspiring, I'm on the verge of exploding every time I'm on there.

Okay, so that was more than a weekend...

... But I had a lot to do. I'm back now, promise.

“The moth lives for just one day, and yet, you will never see it fall to the ground and curse the futility of its existence. Nor flowers weep when winter comes. Nor the moon sigh when dawn approaches. We are only ever given just so much. But it is always, all we need.” — I Wrote This For You

Links for the Weekend

Hello and happy Friday! I hope your week has been wonderful. I know mine's been very lovely and I'm proud to say that I've gotten a lot done. Hopefully I can finish up everything this weekend. Lots of raking, record organizing and mixtape making I do believe is order. What are your plans for the weekend?

This store has got be going nuts lately.

Blowing bubbles sounds awesome. I haven't done that in months.

Funny book titles.

Love, love, love this little box.

I am really loving all the rabbits I've been seeing around lately.

And this just because it's awesome (and the perfect way to start out a weekend I might add.)
