Well I'd say that like my 2010 my December was quite a success, how about yours? During the month we brought home a giant white pine tree that almost reached the ceiling (had no idea it would be that tall), dried oranges, went to see my friends in The Nutcracker, strung popcorn and cranberries, lit candles, had hot apple cider in Williamsburg, made wreaths, saw very many pretty houses, made Mary Jane Eggs and got three lovely snow storms (one that started Christmas evening!)
Well, we actully had some snow this weekend. Only a light dusting that only stuck to a few cars but it was snow non the less. These lovely pictures from Katy Elliot were brought to my mind. Oh if only we could just get a snow like that once.
Totally in love with this look here from L.L. Bean Signature’s Winter 2010 collection. That dress and those shoes together is just fabulous (and I love the backdrop in the photo too). Check out more of their line on their Facebook page.
I love a children's clothes line that has clothes I would wear if they came in adult sizes. This is so one of those. Oh how I wish I had someone this size to dress up!
It sure doesn't seem as if it could be April already. March went by too fast. But I suppose I say that every month. Still it's true. I'm glad for April though. April means azaleas (which are already budding in our yard!), warmer weather, tulips and just more spring beauty. As for March, it was wonderful. The Bradford Pears were everywhere (see photos 8 and 13) and the daffodils quite abundant too as well as Saucer Magnolias, Star Magnolias, Camellias and so many more. And the birds were everywhere as well singing up a storm. The trees budding, the sky blue and the sun up until 7:00pm. You gotta love spring!
P.S. I couldn't help having just a few more than normal. There were just too many. Which are your favorites?
First of all, sorry there's no street picture. Can you believe I forgot about it? Truth is I just wasn't out much last month so aside from not getting that I also didn't really get the greatest pictures of other stuff. There are still some fairly good ones though.
Wow! Hard to believe it's March first already, isn't it? I mean it's the first day of the third month of 2010! It hardly seems as if even January could be over already to me.
I'm not too upset though. With March comes many good things. Soon we will be having warmer weather, more flowers, more birds and all kinds of spring related things because spring itself is on it's way. Just 19 days now.
I must say though, I've quite enjoyed this winter. My feelings for the once-dreaded season have changed drastically. I can now say that I do not hate winter. I'll still be happy for spring though. How about you?
