A Vacation
Well folks, I think I've decided I need a nice break from the blog this winter. School work is piling up and priorities need to be put in order. I'm just going to be too busy to do this full time. I'll be here every once in a while though. Just not everyday. And I hope to be back in full swing sometime in March, hopefully with better-than-ever posts. So long for now.

Links for the Christmas Weekend (I Hope Yours is Filled With All Kinds of Christmas Joy!)
Merry Christmas Eve everybody! What are your plans for this weekend? I'll just be doing normal Christmas things. Giving presents, singing carols, watching Christmas movies and listing to my new favorite Pandora station (for Christmas at least), The Vienna Choir Boys (Holiday). It's amazing. Lots of unpopular but still awesome and Christmas-y carols plus lots of lovely versions of classics like Silent Night and even such recent ones as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I like it better every song. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and in the mean time here's a few links for your weekend.

Ray + Phil
I really love all the details of this wedding. Lots of color, a charming cake, tons of lovely flowers and an overall fun atmosphere. And the reception room is pretty awesome too, don't you think? Makes me think of a wine shop.

Globe Chandelier
Isn't this spectacular? I want to make one. If only I had the skills to do so and a place to put it.

Links For the Snow-y, Christmas-y Weekend (I Hope Yours Rocks!)
Hey guys! Any plans this weekend? I'm hoping to be taking pictures of the lovely snow, making fudge, working on some inspiration boards (both digital and real-life), doing extra school-work, making play lists and wrapping lots of gifts. Very much looking forward to it. In the meantime though, how about some links for the weekend?

Definitely going to try this.
A perfect recipe for Christmas decorating.
Amazing typewriter art.

Christmas goodness.
And if your looking for some new things to listen to, check out elephantine's and miss moss's. I've really been loving theirs lately.

Pie Is Awesome
The Etsy store All Jarred Up is amazing. It's one of those, "I wish I'd thought of that" things. They send you pies in jars. How perfect is that?

Christmas Lights
This amazing Coldplay song, "Christmas Lights" is almost guaranteed to be a Christmas classic one day. It's perfect. I think I've played it at least once everyday since just about when it came out. And also the video rocks too. Fireworks, a colorful piano and Elvis impersonators playing violins. Yeah!

Sky Scarves
This brilliant idea Maria of 3191 has come up with seriously has me swooning. In Maine Maria took some fabulous pictures of the sky full of light. And to help get her and others through the dark days of winter she had the photographs turned into scarves! Gorgeous scarves to be more specific. She says, "I became fixated on capturing a momentary blanket of light, of all tones and colors, which I could hold and pull up around me when all I see is black. I wanted to feel the light. I needed to see the light. And now I feel ready. Come darkness, here we are again." I want one!
