Music Monday - Little Joy

The beachy sounds of Little Joy has me hypnotised lately. They feel so much like summer and that's perfect for the weather we've been having here lately. Made of Los Hermanos singer Rodrigo Amarante, Binki Shapiro (who has the most lovely voice) and The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, these guys have plenty of amazing talent. Be sure to give a listen to this clip too, so '60s. Happy Music Monday!

Music Monday - Noah and the Whale

I'm so excited about Noah and the Whale's newest album, Last Night On Earth. It's so perfect and fun and super upbeat. I especially love the song, L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. Maybe a little hard to sing along to but once you've got it, it's awesome! So I thought I'd share that for today. Happy Music Monday everybody!

Have a Super Lovely Springy Weekend

I would post some links but I haven't been so much into the blog world this week. But I did want to at least wish everybody a happy weekend. I am glad the weekend is here and hoping it will bring some fun things, watching Deathly Hallows, riding roller coasters, reading, admiring gardens, getting my bicycle fixed, lovely things to get me out of my recent depression.

Music Monday - She & Him

Sorry once again for being a day late. I promise next week will be better. Anyway: some of you may have already heard of the lovely duo, She & Him, they've been pretty big in the alternative world in the last few years. They are a band combining the musical talents of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, with truly stunning results and a very early '60s pop sound to their music. They're newest video, for they're song, Don't Look Back is definitely worth a listen, whether an old fan or a new.

Back In The Swing of Things

Hello all! Just wanted to let you know I am so very sorry that March did not bring with it posting full time like I had hoped but things are still a little busy. For now I'm going to be trying to post on Mondays (doing Music Monday and regular posts) and on Wednesdays (doing Words of Wisdom and a regular post there too) and possibly on Fridays. Music Monday - Stornoway

... Or should that be Music Tuesday. Sorry about that. Anyway, I've been fans of these guys for a while now. I really love their upbeat, happy tunes. Named after a seaside town in Scotland, Stornoway can almost always guarantee a good mood. Most definitely worth a listen.

All About Pancakes

I have not had pancakes in way too long. This has inspired me to do something about that soon. I love how all the pancakes are different sizes. It's so perfect!
