Links For The Weekend (I Hope Yours is Outstanding!)

Ah it's Friday! What are your plans for the weekend all? As for me, I think I might end up spending a lot of my weekend trying to get a little overdue spring cleaning done and most of the rest of it trying to get used to my new sleeping schedule. (11:00pm to 7:00am. I think I can! I think I can!) What about you all? What are your plans?

Whoa, cool envelopes.

I defiantly want to start wearing more things like this.

Such amazing childhood photos!

Wow! These are so filled with detail! (I was totally fooled with image 3 at first.)

Adoring this awesome photo box!

I just love the way she used cotton like that.

Cool! Lemon leaf garland. (Reminds me of Colonial Williamsburg Christmas decorations.)

Oh my, they're all so gorgeous.

A very pretty nightstand.

Yellow!

Woodland Belle

Butterflies, woodland creatures, mushrooms: what could go wrong, right? Well in this instance, nothing, I think. All these pieces by Woodland Belle are just too lovely! And just the way that they put nature into the jewelry like that is just genius. Terrariums, butterfly collections, so awesome. And every piece is just so pretty!

Landscape Baby Dress

When I first saw this I thought to myself, "nah, too loud" but then I realized just how cute it was. At least, I think it's cute. To me it's kind of like one of those Christmas trees you can see like every day and yet always seem to find something new on it. (I've always liked that.) And those colors! Just too cute.

Megan Breukelman

Lately I've really been enjoying looking through Megan Breukelman's website and Flickr photostream. Such great pictures and the she's only 16. Very cool.

Vintage Linen Grain Sack Pillow

I'm really loving these darling pillows. Each is made with vintage fabric and the description even warns buyers, "Please note that this pillow is made from vintage fabric. Small imperfections in the fabric (tiny spots or fading) are considered part of its history and will not affect the quality or durability of the product." So cool. Part of it's history, I love that!

Aprons With Character

I've always loved fun aprons with real character and these aprons from Pamwares are no exceptions. All so wonderfully made! And all so creative and fun, yet also very pretty. I'd just love to bake a pie with one of these one. I think it would make me happy just wearing it. What about you?

And so tall...

I just read this neat article about Sunflowers in Southern Living the other day and it really caught my eye. I think this year, if at all possible I want to grow some sunflowers. According to the Southern Living article, they're easy to grow, they can make long-lasting bouquets and they attract Goldfinches and many other beautiful birds. I'm all for it (especially the bird part).

P.S. Click here for a list of Southern Living's Favorite Kinds of Sunflowers. I think I like "The Joker" and "Maya" best. How about you?

Bedside Cabinet

How about this totally rad bedside cabinet? I know I love it. It's so creative. And in my opinion it's much better than a side table. It takes up less space, can't be easily filled with clutter, and it's just so cute too. What do you think?

"When will you and Daddy be back?"

This lovely picture from flickr was taken just as the parents were about to leave and the babysitter arrive. Do you all remember that feeling? I do.

My poor little brother was going through this earlier today. He's really been freaking out every time my mom leaves now that my dad is gone on the weekdays. Today as my mom was leaving the poor little guy was crying and asked about fifteen times when she was coming home. He's finally settled down now though and is watching Joey with my grandma.

The Kwanzan Cherry Tree Project

About a week ago one of my neighbors kindly let me take a bunch of photos of her amazing Kwanzan Cherry Tree that I've always adored. (It's such an amazingly gorgeous tree I think.) When I say I took a bunch of pictures, I do mean a bunch. I think I took about 20 or 30 pictures of it in total. These are just my favorites and I thought I'd share. What do you think?

Links For The Weekend

~∞~

Happy Friday all! What are you going to be doing this weekend? I'll probably just read some and watch some movies and things with my dad and grandma (and hopefully we'll be having the lovely Kansas City Steak Burgers that we haven't had in like months). Who knows though, something else might come up too.

I'm really in love with these awesome pictures.

There's even a tent in there.

Country charm.

What a cute little flower party!

Wouldn't this just be wonderful to hold some fruit in?

Think pink! (You gotta love it.)

Such bold and beautiful hairpieces!

I just love these gorgeous beach Polaroids!

Aren't these just too lovely?

P.S. By the way, sorry everything is so late.

And You Can Put Stuff In It Too

I'm really loving this adorable Townsend Coffee Table from Pottery Barn. It's so pretty and it's such a lovely idea. It's like a shadow box that's a coffee table. And it doesn't have to be just merely decorative either. I think it could also be very functional. Just think of the things you could store in it. I wonder what I would put in it if I had one.

Navy Rain Jacket

Isn't this Spiewak navy rain jacket just too lovely? I especially love the fit. I don't really have a rain jacket at the moment and while this wouldn't totally work for me, I'm defiantly going to be on the look out for something like it when I go shopping to get a rain jacket.

Speaking of rain though, I really can't wait until the next spring shower. I've only gotten to take a rain walk around in my simi-new rain boots once so far. It was so much fun and I want to do it again. But the rain we've been getting latly is usually only at night. And I've never been a huge fan of walking in the dark (especially while it's raining). Well, maybe one during the day will come soon. I sure hope so.

By The Way...

It took me a while, but I finally decided to go ahead and post from here in Springfield. It's not really a vacation and I have Internet so it works out alright. Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm here and I'm planning on posting this week. I hope your Monday was as nice as mine!

Robin's Robins and Things

I'm really enjoying the nice spring-y images Robin Lamb has been posting on his blog, Robin's Robins and Things. Such amazing and beautiful pictures of flowers, birds and so much more. I just can't get over them. Hop on over and check 'em out. You won't be disappointed.

Links for the Weekend (I Hope Yours is Fantastic!)

So what are you all up to this weekend? I'm going to hopefully be getting ready to go with my dad to Springfeild (V.A.) were he is on the weekdays. My grandma's coming too, just like last time. But this time hopefully nobody will become sick. (Last time I was the only one who was well.)

Ha! How cool, it's a chalkboard piano.

Oh, I love this shirt. It's so nautical and so cute.

Incredible storm pictures.

Yeah! More nautical stuff. (And so cute too).

Some amazing pictures filled with spring-y goodness.

This is such a cute idea for a nursery.

I love that they have parrots on them.

A potted moss necklace.

Two gorgeously wonderful cottages.

Don't you love bluebells!? I do.

Wow. That's colorful.

Okay, now I'm hungry all over again. (It's because of this.) I don't mind it too much though.

Basket Purse

Oh my goodness! How lovely is this basket-as-a-purse in this darling photo of Jane Birkin? It looks so lovely and fun and pretty spring-y too. Maybe this will be my handbag solution, if I can find one big enough. I wonder where you can get one like the one she's sporting. Hmm - well, it can't be too hard. For now, I'll just drool over this picture.

Moop Handbags

I really like these simple but beautiful handbags from Moop. I love a nice large bag so you can keep everything you need in it. Right now I have a Travelon organizer bag that I've been carrying around for years. I love it to death but lately I've been thinking about getting a new one. It's time for a change. If I do get a new one though, I'll want one nice and big and nice and organizable (is that a word?) and sometimes that can be hard to find. What kind of bag do you carry?

White Owl

I'm totally in love with this awesome Esty shop, White Owl. They sell some of the most adorable handmade jewelry. And I love how they have so much lace in they're pieces. It's so pretty! Don't you think so?

Same Hill, Different Day

Same Hill, Different Day is a photo project by Paul Octavious which is, in my opinion, quite ingenious. Here's how he describes his project, "For the past 2 years I have visited a beautiful mound of earth that I have come to call 'the hill.' Each time I have come to the hill a new story is told to me as if the hill is my stage and the locals are the actors in this daily play."

So, it's kind of like taking a picture of a certain place once every new season only better because it's even more often than that. So cool. (And it's such a pretty hill too. Don't you think?)

Links for the Weekend (I Hope Yours is Awesome!)

Hello all. What are your plans for the weekend? I'll probably spend most of mine photographing trees, flowers, birds and the like on walks. It's so pretty out! Don't you just love spring?

His and Hers doors.

This is just too cute.

I wouldn't mind having a pair.

Lemonhead invitations.

I'm really loving this Flickr photostream. So lovely.

Leo Patrone does it again.

Whoa, aren't these gorgeous?

You are what you eat.

This has always been one of my favorite skits.

1920's Themed Wedding

I'm really loving this awesome '20s themed wedding of Ed and Ginny. I especially love that wedding dress, so vintage and cool. And how about those invitations? Everything's neat though. Those beautiful colors, the fact that everybody is in 1920s attire and just that fun theme. So lovely!

Thank You Bag

How neat is this? I love it. A reusable thank you bag. And it looks so cool too. Plus it's even got a neat description.

Thank You Bag

By Ina Weise

I’m not crazy about telling everyone not to use plastic bags. I know they can be very useful. But since I’ve been living in the US it is very hard to ignore the mass amounts of plastic bags everywhere. Everyone keeps them stuffed into one that hangs from the pantry door. They line trash bins. They carry food even if it is just a single pack of gum. They flutter from trees. They float in the breeze. They clog roadside drains. There are so many everywhere that no one really treats them as if they’re worth anything.

Give your shopping bag a little meaning, make it worth something. That’s why I made these. They are hand sewn from white bottomweight fabric and the red “thank you” screen print actually means “Thank You”. Thank you for using this bag instead of a thousand plastic bags, thank you for washing it and reusing it.

The bags are made to order and available in black also!
