I just read this neat article about Sunflowers in Southern Living the other day and it really caught my eye. I think this year, if at all possible I want to grow some sunflowers. According to the Southern Living article, they're easy to grow, they can make long-lasting bouquets and they attract Goldfinches and many other beautiful birds. I'm all for it (especially the bird part).
P.S. Click here for a list of Southern Living's Favorite Kinds of Sunflowers. I think I like "The Joker" and "Maya" best. How about you?
