Lovely Shop
Speaking of wonderful Esty things, check this store out. Filled to the brim with lovely things (especially nautical ones) and owned by the sweetest couple, Hearblack wasn't looked through long before it was added as a favorite Esty shop of mine.
P.S. They have a fabulous blog too.

Thimble Planters
I've mentioned before on here how much I love moss and because of that naturally I would think these were adorable. Aren't they though? Little vintage thimble planters. I love that! Oh and get this, they come with complete instructions on how to care for the moss. Isn't that cute?

Floral Print Suitcases
Loving these suitcases from Liberty. At first I thought they were just a little too girly for me but then I thought about it and suddenly I could definitely see myself carrying one of these around. So pretty and fun!

Flour Pot Bakery
This is so smart. The Flour Pot Bakery has their menu on their baguette bags. People can carry their bread home and then read about all the other wonderful things to try out next time. It's perfect! And gosh, that awesome type and happy color palette, I just adore it.

Creepy Candles
It's getting to be that time of year again. Time for all sorts of wonderful Halloween goodness. All things spooky and awesome! And I think these Mortimer Bust Candles would be perfect to decorate with inside the house. Don't they just rock?

Vintage Postcards
For a while my little sister collected vintage postcards. Anytime we went into an antique store that would always be the place she would head too first and after a while she had quite a collection of them. During that time I really got into them too. I still think they're pretty cool. And I love them how they're used here, as gift tags. So cool.
An At-Home Wedding
I think that this at-home wedding is so cute and so super sweet. No formalities like dances or toasts gave it an overall homey and special atmosphere. And the guests played games and were invited to share their favorite records to listen to, how awesome! At the end the bride said, "One of our best friends described the wedding to be like a big family party which was the best compliment I could have received because that was our intent."

Links for the First Fall Weekend (I Hope Yours is Awesome!)
Firstly sorry, I'm so late. I've been pretty busy today. Secondly, happy Friday! Any plans for this first fall weekend? I'll be walking (looking for changing leaves though they don't usually come this early, you can always be hopeful!), working on getting some closets and drawers cleaned out, finally watching my two movies from Netflix so that I can send them back and celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday on Sunday with an apple-y dessert. Meanwhile, here's some links!
Things I want: this anchor necklace.
I can almost guarantee this will make you want to go to garage sales more often.
These candy pouches are so cute, don't you think?
A city made of staples.
I'd be all for eating on these.
Some super cool jewelry.
Ribbon art (I really love the seal).
Ooh, Halloween cards.
An awesome autumn hair style: Heidi braids.
Creative s'mores.

Swedish Apartment
I really love this cute little Swedish apartment. So, so super small but so perfect. I especially love the little nook where the bed is and that lovely little breakfast table.

Magnolia Photo Booths
Okay awesome! There's a way that you can rent photo booths now! The Magnolia Photo Booth Co. designs, builds and rents out just like the coolest photo booths ever! And not only do they look awesome but they also make you look awesome. No more yucky low quality pictures that make you look like some sort of monster. The picture quality with these guys is super high. Just imagine how cool one of these would be at a party.
Happy First Day of Autumn!
Funny, I was thinking yesterday was the first day of autumn. But I was wrong, it's today. I can't believe I could get such an important date wrong! Oh well, happy autumn everybody! Get ready for changing leaves, pumpkins, cooler weather, football, jackets, Halloween, autumn picnics, apple cider... But then, I could go on forever.

So, What Do You Think?
At this point, I feel like celebrating. I'm so glad all that's over and I'm super happy about the results! I think A Million Parachutes is such a better name for this blog. What do you guys think?

Botanical Wedding
Right now, I simply can't get over lovely blogger Alyson Brown's (of Unruly Things fame) completely charming, perfect wedding. I'm seriously in love.
Outstanding invitations, beyond breath-taking location, gorgeous botanical-inspired details, a great color scheme and burgers as part of the meal. I just can't get enough of it, it's too awesome.

Judging a Book By It's Cover
I really love the covers on these penguin classics books (especially the Little Women one). I'd feel so chic reading one of these.
A Change of Season, A Change of Name
Certain thoughs have been going around in my mind for some time now. I've been having serious regrets about the name I gave my blog that one chilly day last December. Despite what I wrote in that post that day I don't think I was ever really crazy about the name. I feel horrible changing it now, like one of those teenagers who changes their blog name once a week, but I know if I don't do it now I never will. I feel absolutely confident in my new and very permanent, I assure you, title for this blog. Another Sixpence None The Richer song (they have the best titles) but one I feel is much more suited for this blog. The name however will be a surprise, you'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see it. Oh yeah, and since the blog name is changing the URL will be changed too, but all you'll have to do it type in the regular URL and you'll be redirected. Thanks!

Links For The Almost-Autumn Weekend (I Hope Yours Rocks!!)
Hey all, what are your plans for the weekend? I'll be cerebrating my baby brother's seventh birthday (!!!!), watching movies, daydreaming about autumn, hopefully finally finishing my book and maybe even making that soup I mentioned earlier. Man though, I still can't get over tomorrow being the day my little brother turns seven, I mean, seven. How is this possible!? Meanwhile here's some links for your weekend.
A store with a refrigerator named Dylan and a hand painted chalkboard full of delicious things.
Loving this lovely wedding braid the bride is wearing here.
These Smokey The Bear posters are so neat!
Charlotte Tolhurst's Egg Sandwich looks yummy.
Best baby bump picture like ever (I think).
Extremely cool looks from J.Crew.
Grocery list in french tote.
Canning peaches, cool.
This cherry-themed birthday party is so cute.
A very lovely paper flower wreath.
And a sweet, sweet little kitten named Jack.

The Braid Wedsenday Pool
Today I really enjoyed looking though the Flickr group Braid Wednesday. All of the pictures on there are, of course, of braids and they're all really cool. It totally makes me want to braid my hair more often (I don't think I've done it for about two years now). These guys look so gorgeous rocking those braids, don't you think?
