Best of the Blogs
Here I am again with my best of the blogs list. This time I have posts with flying children, funky letters, a flower pinata plus much more. Enjoy!
Did you ever have dreams of flying when you were young?
Check out these pothole gardens.
Neat fruit pictures.
What awesome light fixtures!
Funny.
Pretty Australian homes.
Gee, I can't wait until we start seeing daffodils around here.
Awesome lego buildings.
I just love fun letter art. Don't you?
I'm in love with this adorable birthday party.
And another fun birthday party (only this one is more for kids).

Flaming Lips Pad
How about this totally crazy and kaleidoscope-like house? Awesome isn't it? It belongs to the Flaming Lips singer, Wayne Coyne and was designed by Fitzsimmons Architecture. Gee, I'd love to hang out there. It's just too cool.

A Lake of Clouds
I've always loved clouds. It just amazes me how they look like big balls of fluff that you could even sit on and yet they're really just viable masses of water vapor. Still though I think clouds are gorgeous. They can add so much to a landscape and yet even on their own they just look so dreamy and lovely.

Interesting Restaurant
First of all, sorry for not posting for so long. I've had a horrible cold (or something like it) for the past few days and so haven't felt much like posting. I was just sick about a month ago too. But anyhow, today I'm feeling good enough to make a post or two.
Second, check out this awesome Yellow Treehouse Restaurant. It was designed by Pacific Environments Architects for New Zealand’s Yellowpages ad campaign as a way to help people see Yellow in a better light. Isn't it just lovely? Man, I'd love to eat there some day. How about you?

Nutella Croissants
How amazing do these Nutella croissants look!? I just had Nutella for the first time yesterday actually and I can now say it's true what they say about it. The stuff really is delicious. Now I can't wait to try these.
Update: Tried them! And they are delicious. I highly recommend them.

Hobbit House
I think that this hobbit house is officially the coolest house I have ever seen in my life. This is a real house too, with people living in it! A Welsh man built it himself, along with his father-in-law (and a few passerbys who wanted to help) and now he lives there with his wife and two little sons. Can you imagine growing up there!? That would be just so magical.

Inspirational Apartment
I cannot get over this outstanding apartment of Juliet Totten from floral/event design duo, Poppies and Posies.
What totally gets me about her apartment is that pretty much every little item has some kind of special value and story. The painting on top of the mantle in the first picture for instance, was painted by a family friend, Ludwig Bemelman and so he inscribed the print “Little Audrey and The Princeton Tiger” for her grandparents Audrey and Middy (he went to Princeton). No item though is anything short of totally unique. And I love that.
I also love how she has so many flowers and plants in her apartment. She even grows rosemary, lavender, lemons, ferns and mosses next to the windows, and in summer she plans to grow strawberries and tomatoes (in a New York City apartment!).

Baby Hank Vinatge
I am positivly in love with these adorable baby clothes from Baby Hank Vintage! Everything is so vintage-y and lovely and just so cute. I just can't stop looking though the store. And with soft calm colors and such beautiful styles who wouldn't want to dress their baby up in some of these get-ups?

I've Always Wanted a Treehouse
How would you like to vacation here? Well that's what newlyweds Jasmine and Scott did. This amazing place called Treehouse Point in Issaquah, Washington was where they stayed for their honeymoon where they stayed in a treehouse perched right over a river and surrounded by big green trees all around (plus they got to sleep under the stars every night). Doesn't that sound just perfect!

Do You Have Trouble Falling Asleep?
Use this: Badger Sleep Balm, made from balsam fir, oils of bergamot, ginger, rosemary and lavender. Just rub it onto your face or lips and it helps you fall asleep. It's lovely. xoxo

Best of the Blogs!
My dear readers, I have decided to make a list of what I consider some of the best blog posts from around the web posted within the last two weeks. I may have to start doing this every two weeks or maybe even once a week. For now though, check these out!
Boy, these look good.
What lovely snow and what lovely pictures.
Who knew there were so many ways to wear a scarf?
Love these Valentine's Day-themed Parisian pictures.
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a ... flying cat?
What an awesome mosaic!
Cheese that's so stinky it's been banned from any public transportation in France.
A citrus orchard themed wedding! Cool.
More amazing and outstanding snow photos.
Houses with great curb appeal.
And how adorable are these?

Creative Valentine's Day Ideas
From marthastewart.com these hearts would be a fun Valentine's Day craft. To get directions click on link.
Another fun idea, string some pretty valentines on a wall.
Now this I just love, pink roses made into a heart. That's creative.
Instead of putting flowers in old bottles why not put in little hearts? Very cute.
Also I'm in love with these "love" pancakes. I might have to try them this weekend. xoxo
